FAQ snorkeling ENSENADA
Is it safe? The Bufadora area is on the ocean, so gets stronger waves in the afternoon, so we go early while it’s calmer. Life jackets and a certified guide provided of course!
Will we get wet? Yes, snorkeling on the ocean you will get wet.
Do you have a changing room? Yes, we have a changing room and you can leave valuables there or best in the vehicle.
What if weather is bad? We watch the weather and will offer an alternative tour or refund if it is not safe to snorkeling as part of our policies. Usually 24 hrs before, we make the bad weather call. You will have chance to alter the tour for another activity, or full refund if weather prevents safe snorkel.
Is this tour listed on Viator? We have a variation of this tour listed there at different pricing more $$.
What to Wear? Water shoes or no shoes, light clothes that dry quickly. We recommend bring change of clothes. Sunblock or big hat;) Sunglasses are nice on a sunny day. We provide life jackets. No helmets or wetsuits provided or needed.
Is there an age minimum? For safety we allow minimum 8 years old for Snorkel.
Is water Clean? Yes, this area is 40 min from town, with no population center. Ocean currents keep water fresh.

Do you have a bathroom? Yes, we have a bathroom on-site at Kayak Bufadora put in, so you use it before the 90min kayak tour
Do we need snorkeling experience? No! But you must swim. Many guests do not have experience and enjoy it.

We kayaked to the Bufadora. It was an amazing adventure! They kept our family of 9 together and we kayaked out through the rocks, past the birds and right to the mouth of the Bufadora. An amazing view and grand experience!

Our family of 5 LOVED the kayak tour to La Bufadora! We have been to La Bufadora before so wanted something a little different. This was perfect! Our tour guide met us just outside the gates of the dock and drove us to our adventure. Willy was a great driver! The kayak guides met us at the water and had the kayaks all ready. They were great guides and we all had so much fun! We spent some time shopping and eating and got lots of great pictures after!

We booked the Kayaking excursion and it was totally memorable, My father-in-law loved it and I am so glad he got to experience it! Our Kayaking guides were Ensau and Lindsey - awesome people! Lindsey kept an eye on us and made sure we were safe, she at one point parked her kayak in front of rocks so we wouldn't run into. I really enjoyed Ensau- he so funny. He spent so much time talking with us and explaining to us what we saw.
Highly recommend this company! Next time we go to Ensenda will book again!
