Are the waves safe?

Yes, Playa Hermosa is shallow and has a gentle wave beach break for beginners to learn on.

How are water temperatures?

We provide wetsuits for your comfort. December to April is cold. June to September is cool, but nice without a wetsuit. In October and November no wetsuit needed for most;)

What is provided to Ride Along?

Ride Along Fee $17 water, granola, beach chair, and shade.

Is the ocean water clean?

Yes, Ensenada Beaches have been cleared by the government as clean to swim. There any many surfers and swimmers each day. Our owner Jesse lived on Playa Hermosa during pandemic and was swimming 3 times a week without any problems.

The beach sand is combed several times a week.

Do you have a back-to-ship guarantee?

Yes!

How much are Epic pictures of this adventure?

Free!

Are there showers?

Yes! We have showers and bathrooms. Clean and private (not the public ones).

Can we get tacos after?

Yes! And during the lesson, there are places for parents to walk and explore.

Are guides bilingual?

Yes.

Do I need to be a strong swimmer?

No, the water is shallow for a long distance from shore, so very very friendly for beginning surfers and swimmers. Your guide will be there at all times to make sure you are safe.

They help you get through the waves or ‘whitewash’ (the most tiring part) to ride it back in.
